i found this hotel to be of real quality. the staff was excellent (especially liviu, daniela, luigi, eva and suzana). i loved the espa products provided in the bathrooms. i enjoyed the spa facilities, and the gym was well-equipped.

the breakfast offered a large selection. the food in all restaurants tasted delicious. i particularly loved the truffle ravioli and wanted to eat it every day.

the hotel is in an idyllic location (near the beach). it features a long, wide promenade by the sea. i could easily rent bikes at the hotel for a small fee.

The spa, the pool, and the sauna were all really good. breakfast went until 10:30. i was upgraded to a bigger, cozier beautiful room, a plus. the dinner at epicurean restaurant was great.

my room had a balcony with furniture. the bathroom included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. air conditioning worked efficiently and maintained a consistent temperature.

the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety. i found fresh fruit and greek yogurt. the gym had good equipment for a hotel gym. it included a tennis court that was well kept.
my limited sea view room overlooked the taxi rank. drivers waited there. the sea was visible at an angle but it was still disappointing. the main pool was full of children on lilos..

The pool was spacious enough. I didn't feel overcrowded.
My room key didn't work at check-in. Someone who wasn't staff exited as i tried to enter. i waited an hour for a callback that never came. i had to check the room myself!!!

the breakfast was acceptable. the staff took care to ask if more drinks were needed.
the room cleaning lacked attention! there was also less supply of drinking water. we had specifically asked about beach access through our travel agent. i was told it was sandy. it is until the waters edge. it changes to large sharp ankle turning stones for about a metre and a half into the sea. it goes sandy again. this was very difficult for an able bodied person in water shoes to traverse. it was worse for an 80 year old.

The hotel offered a varied breakfast with fresh ingredients. i also enjoyed dinners at the italian and asian restaurants. The food was delicious.. it was of a high standard.
the half board option included a limited allowance in the restaurants.
